Hey! I’m Daniel.
Living and working in Toronto throughout my life has exposed me to people from all walks of life. I take inspiration from the people I connect with and have always had an acute perception for how people feel and behave. I strive to apply this knowledge to help strengthen the bond between users and the everyday products they use.

I grew up wanting to be an astronaut, a doctor, a scientist, and then a lawyer. When I changed my mind near the end of my undergraduate career, I found myself working at one of Canada’s largest financial institutions for a few years. However, I knew it wasn’t for me, and it burned me out. Despite my childhood career ambitions, I always had a creative spark that was beckoning me.
So I took a leap, left the bank after seven years, and enrolled myself into a class learning about user experience design. I always felt perceptive about people, and I feel the most complete when I can help and care for others.
It was an instant moment of clarity. Blending an understanding of how people think, working with technology, and having influence on how people feel by being just a bit more thoughtful about how we design things; all of it was a revelation.
The journey may have not been linear, but helping others through design has been nothing but exciting and fulfilling.
